"Each page is pure seduction of the senses.” Genie Romex Reviews

"Once again, Kathryn Shay blends realism and romance to flawless perfection. Her strength lies in her ability to capture the voice of children with thoughtful insight into how they think and what they feel. The love story is passionate and bittersweet. There's no stopping this gifted author!" The Literary Times

“I quite enjoyed this story. I loved the characters - all of them and especially Michael, himself. The romance aspect was wonderfully written and had enough heat to satisfy this reader and her penchant for the more heated of romance novels.” A Reader

“Kathryn Shay's greatest gift as a writer is her ability to create characters who are real, relatable and human. She forces them to confront challenges real people might confront.” A Reader

Little bit of a roller coaster on emotional insecurities (especially in men), but all in all, good reading and HEA.

One of the best sad to happy endings I have ever read. Loved the strong characters who met their issues head on and came out on top. I have an adopted daughter who does not know anything about her birth Mother. She feels a loss and wants to find her. That scares me. While my daughter was not born out of a rape as the teenager in this book, she does feel the abandonment. An emotional read on all levels. 7/29/21

At times heart wrenching but most of the time heartwarming, you will love this story of this group of people who love Michael and also begin to love each other.

Wow! What a story I really do not know where to start. I guess I will start with Michael requesting to meet his real mother. His adoptive mother had just died 3 years earlier. And with that request he turned his DAD' life upside down and his real mother also.
